We were immediately drawn to Neada Deters minimalistic lifestyle and her uncompromising skincare range LESSE. Born in Australia and residing in LA, Neada sees bathing as an opportunity to shut off from the outside world and be still in between her busy work-life schedule.

In light of our recent collaboration with LESSE, we sat down with our friend and business owner Neada Deters for Vol 05. of BAINA Bathe. Here, she shares her connection to bathing and daily practices captured behind her own lens in LA.

"Bathing for me is an opportunity to drown out the noise of the world, to be completely with oneself and realise the beauty in stillness.

I only ever bathe when I have no time limit, so I can completely shut off from the constraints and weight of the world for however long I need."

"I always, always apply the Bioactive Mask before I get in the bath and let it linger on my skin for a long while before wiping it off with a damp cloth. Another favourite beauty tool of mine is the LESSE Everyday Comb, which I always bring in the bath with me- it's a wide-tooth comb, so it's perfect for wet or dry hair."

"I practice square breathing a few times a day to reduce stress levels and ground myself.

"I am currently manifesting ease and simplicity.

Somehow life feels more complicated as time goes on, but my goal is always to embrace a sense of simplicity and, through that, joy."
